TRACY KELLUM, Professional Judge
...has been teaching ballroom dancing for over 16 years now. She was co-owner/ operator of a Cincinnati Independent Studio for 10 years and in 2004 opened her own studio, 'Rhythm In Motion' located in the Beechmont/Eastgate area. Tracy teaches all American Rhythm and Smooth dances, as well as West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, Samba and Quick Step. Over the years, she has participated in Ballroom Dance competitions with her students; now she focuses on teaching social dancing and performing show dances.
"I love teaching newcomers," Tracy says, "because they remind me of the 'excitement' we all experienced when we first learned to dance, and I also love teaching the advanced students because they keep my skills sharp & press me to continue learning!"
When asked what her greatest success in dancing is, she answered with this: "When I run into people that I taught over 8, 10, or 15 years ago and they say, 'We are still having FUN! Thank you for teaching us how to dance' - that is what I consider a success!"
